Mineral Water vs Distilled Water vs Pure Water?

Do you know what is the healthiest choice for your family regarding drinking water? Is it distilled water? What about mineral water? Is it pure water? What is the distinction between the three? We will research further below.

Distilled Water

Distillation attempts to take advantage of the varying boiling points of water and any potentially dangerous components that may be present in the water. Water has a significantly lower boiling point than most other liquids; thus, it may be converted into vapor by distillation while leaving the other dangerous components behind. The water vapor is collected and quickly returned to liquid form, making it pure and safe to drink.

Distilled water is also an excellent option for cleaning because it is free of solid particles that can damage surfaces.

However, remember that distillation cannot remove pesticides from water and may also remove beneficial minerals.

Mineral Water

Mineral water is acquired and collected from mineral springs and has naturally added minerals such as calcium, sodium, and magnesium by traveling through various soil strata. Synthetic mineral water is also available (i.e., bottled water). This clean water has been enhanced with certain specific minerals by bottling businesses to improve its quality.

Water Purification

Purified water is any water that has undergone a purification procedure. As a result, distilled water is frequently referred to as ‘purified water.’ The difference between the two is the degree of filtration the water goes through. Distillation uses a lot of energy, whereas alternative purification procedures, such as osmosis, are significantly more environmentally friendly and frequently produce even purer results. Purified water is, therefore, cleaner than distilled water and is closer to being completely free of hazardous pollutants such as pesticides and most chemicals.
